HOW DID IT ALL START?
Like many great stories, this one starts with a man and a good idea. Ken Muff Lassen always hoped that one day he would come up with an idea for a small "thing" that would sell in bulk. There was one detail missing from the equation: he had no idea what that "thing" might be. One day he got his hands on a grinder. When he looked at it, he noticed that it was ceramic, which was unusual before. As a food connoisseur, he knew that many grinders on the market could not grind effectively in the long term, were difficult to fill and were of poor quality, so he was immediately interested in a ceramic grinder. Excited by this discovery, he made a bold decision: he decided to develop a ceramic grinding mechanism that would be a suitable alternative to a mortar and pestle, would stand up to the best grinders on the market and would be durable enough! After several years of research, testing and gaining more experience, he succeeded. And the results were very impressive. Whatever he poured into the grinder, it seemed to extract the best from the spices, with minimal wear and tear on the ceramic grinding mechanism.

Today, the company is run by the second generation - although Ken still visits frequently and is involved in the development of new products.
